Why Fintech? A Journey into Innovation & Project Management
“The rotational program was instrumental in shaping my career at FISPAN,” Meghan recalls. “It provided me with a solid foundation and helped me discover my passion for project management.”
After completing the rotational program, Meghan joined the Project Management team as a junior project manager, responsible for leading smaller projects and bank partnerships. Her dedication and commitment to excellence quickly earned her recognition and opportunities for growth.
Over the following years, Meghan took on additional responsibilities, including onboarding pilot clients, contributing to marketing and branding initiatives, and managing revenue. She played a pivotal role in building and strengthening relationships with bank partners, ensuring successful project implementations and driving business growth.
From First Impressions to Lasting Impact
“During my interview process, what really drew me to FISPAN was the people,” Meghan says. “I could tell from just my initial introductions with the team that I would enjoy working with them, and this still holds true for me today!”
Even as FISPAN has grown in size, Meghan emphasizes that the people are the reason she continues to want to work there.
“We have definitely increased, built out structured teams, standardized processes, and developed our maturity as a company,” she says, “but the core of who a FISPANer was when I started continues to shine today. The people that I work with are incredibly hardworking, innovative, intelligent and overall always a pleasure to engage with!”
“My advice for applying to FISPAN would be to showcase your different perspectives and experiences,” Meghan advises. “All FISPAN employees bring a multitude of backgrounds and ideas that demonstrate that they are dynamic and willing to step into opportunities where there are no processes or templates previously defined.”
“Our differences continually make us better, and hiring more unique individuals will encourage this further.”

“My week concludes with addressing to-dos from calls and updating reports. While these are typical tasks, every week brings new challenges and variety which I’d say is my norm.”

Living Life to the Fullest Outside the Office
Growing up in Los Angeles, Meghan has discovered hidden gems most visitors wouldn’t know about. “There are many obvious places people want to go to and eat while visiting LA,” she says. “But over the years of growing up there, my favorite place to go to that most wouldn’t have on their list would be Broad Beach in Malibu.”
After a relaxing day at the beach, the perfect way to end the day for Meghan was to visit the fruit cart vendors on the way home. “It would not be a complete beach day without getting a cup full of fresh fruit doused in lime and tajin,” she says. “These carts can be found on the canyon or a few secret spots throughout the San Fernando Valley, so you’ll have to ask me directly if you want to know!”
Meghan’s adventurous spirit shines through her hobbies and travels.
“When I’m not ensuring tasks are being closed out at work, you can catch me most likely doing an activity,” she says. “Any time I take off at work, it is almost guaranteed that I am traveling internationally visiting Patagonia to the Philippines. You’ll see me hiking a mountain, scuba diving, camping, running or skiing.”
“I am quite competitive, so I love to do at least two races a year. If I am not on the move, I am most likely posted up reading a book!”
